Orders and enquiries

Checkout collects your name, email, shipping address and payment information. We store order items, payment status and the contact/delivery details needed to fulfil an order. Stripe processes payment details; full card numbers are not stored by this website.

Order handling uses the lawful basis of performing our contract with you. Enquiries and proportionate fraud prevention rely on legitimate interests, and records needed by law are retained to meet legal obligations. Checkout also uses a hashed network identifier to limit repeated open checkout requests.

Service providers

Cloudflare hosts the website and order database. Stripe handles checkout and payment processing. Brevo handles order emails and mailing-list signups. Our email service handles enquiries, and delivery carriers receive the details needed to deliver orders. Providers may process information outside the UK; their data-processing terms and applicable transfer safeguards form part of our provider arrangements.

Mailing-list choice

Joining the Exist Immortal mailing list is optional and separate from buying merch. The basket offers an unticked box for email news about our music, merch and shows. If selected, we record the choice, timestamp, wording and source with the order. A new signup requires confirmation through Brevo’s email link before joining the mailing list. Test checkout preferences do not create subscriptions.

Leaving the box unticked does not create a new subscription or change an existing one. Existing subscribers can unsubscribe using the link in our marketing emails or contact us at the band email. Order and delivery emails are separate from marketing.

Keeping information

Order and payment records needed for tax are retained for at least five years after the relevant 31 January Self Assessment submission deadline, and longer if required for an unresolved tax enquiry or legal matter. Delivery details are kept while needed for fulfilment, returns or disputes. Enquiries are kept while needed to resolve the enquiry and related follow-up. Mailing-list details are kept while you remain subscribed; limited suppression and consent records may be retained to respect your choices and demonstrate consent. We review information and remove or anonymise it when it is no longer needed.

Your choices and rights

You can ask to access or correct your information, and where applicable request deletion, restriction, portability or object to processing. Some records may need to be kept for legal reasons. Contact us to exercise these rights. You can also complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office.

Cookies, basket storage and media

Your basket is stored in this browser’s session storage to remember your selections. Spotify and YouTube players load only when you choose to load/play them, and their own privacy practices then apply. Stripe checkout uses its own storage and security technologies. No advertising or analytics tools have been added to this shop.
